I've got a user who someone messed up his Outlook 2003 config by trying to change the name of his Exchange server to the actual IP address. Now his Outlook won't start with a message that say something like "Unable to open Outlook Windows. config is in the registry and so perhaps a System Restore to earlier this morning might fix this. Is this right? Note: I have no chance to fix this in person as the user is out of town and has poor internet access. I can't remote control the PC. I would hate for a system restore to kill off the PC uch that it's not usable anymore (cure worse than the disease). Any comments?
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
